Holy Communion is either the body,blood,soul and divinity of Jesus-truly present-or it's idolatry.It has to be one or the other.Jesus said,THIS IS while offering up the elements of bread and wine.He said unless we eat His flesh and drink His blood we have no life (and lost many of his disciples).He said he came to fulfill the old covenant and scripture said to receive unworthily was to sin.You can't sin against a symbol.I have no choice but to take Jesus word for it.His words are efficacious.When God said let there be light,there was light.When Jesus said this is then THIS IS.When the priest says the Lamb of God,we believe.
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
These are some of the Eastern Catholic rites of liturgy. I will include a number of rites in the future including the Latin(Western)of course. I just wanted people to experience a little bit of the liturgy in different rites
