I was watching a very young girl receive Holy Communion today and the thought occurred to me how innocent she was and the hope she would remain that way. It then occurred to me that we ought to pray for our children.The times we live in are such a danger to their well being both physically and spiritually. Many of our canonized saints were actually young children. In fact it seems that Our Blessed Mother more often than not chooses the young to appear to. We begin with the most well known,the 3 children of Fatima.

They were Lucia de Jesus, aged 10, and her cousins, Francisco and Jacinta Marto, aged 9 and 7.

Our Lady of the Rosary, also known as Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, is a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary in relation to the Rosary. The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is October 7. It was formerly known as the Feast of Our Lady of Victory.The Final Apparition of Our Lady to the children took place on Oct 13 when she revealed herself as Our Lady of the Rosary.The last apparition took place on October 13, 1917.The event known as the Miracle of the Sun took place the day of the final apparition.
